Download iTunes movie trailers to your PC without Quicktime or iTunes

Update: The site link no longer works. Agent switcher extension for Firefox with useragent for iTunes will work. Refresh the movie trailer page and there should be a download link. If clicking the link does no download, copy the link to a new page to load.

I hate Quicktime and iTunes. Fortunately its possible to download iTune movie trailers without these bloated programs.

The guide using wget still works. Alternatively an easier method as mentioned in users' comments, use Firefox with agent switcher extension and set to "iTunes 6.5".

Android's email app is broken...

Android's own email app can't move emails in IMAP. The only workaround is to use a third party app like K-9 Mail which is open source.

From Symbian to Windows Mobile to Android

I have switched from Symbian (Nokia 6120) to Windows Mobile (HTC Touch2) in December 2009 and now using the Android based Motorola Milestone since April 2010. I am happy to say this is by far the best smartphone I've used. Hence this blog will be geared more towards the Android platform. Symbian is already old and busted while Windows Mobile is rubbish. Hopefully the soon to come Symbian/Meego or whachamacallit and Windows Mobile 7 will come up with something new and exciting. For now Android is the platform to go to. And the iPhone/iOS? You got to be kidding me.

Get more space on SugarSync

SugarSync is an online data storage service with backup and sync features and has good support for mobile devices.

SugarSync is currently having a referral program where you can get an additional 500MB for every free service referral. Go here to signup.

Every time you refer a friend that isn’t yet signed up on SugarSync, we’ll give you and your friend bonus storage space. And for the next 30 days, the bonus amounts are double the size, with no limits on how many people you can refer.

* If you refer a friend that signs up for a Free account, you will earn 500 MB of free bonus storage.
* If you refer a friend that signs up for a Paid account, you can earn 10 GB of free bonus storage (requires that your friend completes the 30-day trial and becomes a paid user).
* When your friend signs up using your referral, he/she will also get a signup bonus of 500 MB or 10GB, depending on whether they sign up for a free vs. paid account.

After July 15th, the bonuses will drop down to 250 MB for a free referral and 5GB for a paid referral, so act fast.

For more details about this referral program, check here.
